Starwors Campsite - Nieuwoudtville - Campsite Review
- Starwors Campsite
- Northern Cape
- South Africa
- Semi-Private ablutions
This is a quirky campsite and takes its theme from
"Star Wars". Its set on a hilltop just outside the town of
Nieuwoudtville. There is no power, but they do provide access to solar power so
that you can charge your phone etc and run your camping fridge. The ablutions
are semi-private, in that they shower and wash bason etc are your own, but you
need to use a communal toilet. Each site has a lovely boma (which can be partly
enclosed from the wind and rain), as well as a nice built in braai, worktop and
sink.
There is no shop. There are paved walkways to the toilet
black, as well as to the small plunge pool (which can be heated in the winer or
cooler months).
It was cold and windy when we camped here.
What we liked about this campsite:
- The views
- The boma and braai
- The private shower facilities
- Neat and clean.
- Our site was not very level
