DG Overlanding campsite
review of Kameeldoring (Camel Thorn) Campsite.
The campsite is located 1km
from the Augrabies Falls National Park, near Kakamas. The campsite has private
ablutions at each site with showers (hot and cold water – hot from a donkey
boiler) and flush toilets as well as a dish washing area. The sites have
electric power as well.
Its on the banks of the
Orange River, but you don’t get a view of the river from the campsite.
Its in the Northern Cape
Province and located on a grape farm. They also have fully kitted safari tents.
A lovely campsite!
