DG Overlanding campsite review of Potjiespram Campsite in the Ai-Ais / Richtersveld Transfrontier Park.

This campsite is in a rough sandy/rocky deset area known as the Richtersveld. There is no power at the campsites so you need to have solar to keep the fridge and freezer running. In the summer months it can get really hot ! The water was not potable, so you need to also bring your own.
It's a remote camping experieance, and off road and 4x4 is required
At the time of our visit they were building new ablution facilities, but there was only cold water in the showers (not sure if the new ablutions have hot water - check before going).
Most of the sites have shade, a braai/fire pot and are quiet private.
Flush toilets are located in the ablutions.
Potjiespram is near the Orange River, in the far Northern Cape of South Africa.
Enjoy - its a lovely experieance visiting the Richtersveld.
